It was soooo beautiful! The only thing is you’re going to be charged £3.5 to enter and see the view. There was a lighthouse as well. You can see the mountains from this point. The rocks may be slippery because of the seaweeds so be careful! It was firstly constructed in 1838 and looked after well. It took 3 years to build the lighthouse, it says NO PASSAGE LANDWARD

Great little area to explore, very stoney beach, not far to walk to the lighhouse but in very rocky path, nice view.of the island and a lovely cafe available. We paid £3.5 to get up to the area from a man charging at the roadside near the priory. Lighthouse is stunning to photograph, some parking, imaging it gets very busy in summer. No campers allowed up to the end.

Beautiful place with stunning views. Parking (£7.50) very close to the beach but you can also leave the car little earlier and walk 10 -15 minuts to get there. You can buy a coffee, snack or freshly made pizza at the shop.

I wouldn’t recommend any tourists coming here as there is a scam in trying to get there. We’d spent the day in Beaumaris and travelling around Angelsey. We thought we’d head across at around 3pm to see this lighthouse. After passing the priory, there was a shack set up where they were charging £3.50 just to drive through- not park up or anything, to drive through a public road just to see this point. A complete scam. The man collecting this money was in a tracksuit, so it felt very much like someone had decided to just pitch up and earn a few pence. Ironic seeing as many tourists will go and buy things when there and pay for parking, so to charge on top is ridiculous. We turned around. This was a week day too.

A delightful location with panoramic marine views, even on a winter's day.
